The New York Times June 23, 2002, featured an article on
Dr. Mitch Cassel and his cosmetic contact lenses in the SUNDAY STYLES
section. The article was titled" Make Your Brown Eyes Blue",
which described Dr.Mitchell Cassel's use in providing new
FDA approved lenses for cosmetic and prosthetic (patient's
with eye injuries)applications. Mentioned was Dr.Cassel's work with
the motion picture industry, helping actors change their look for
each particular role.
The London Times quoted Dr. Mitch Cassel also in 2002 regarding
the custom colored lenses for both actors and patients.
Over the last 10 years Dr. Cassel has been mentioned in some of
the top magazines, newspapers and TV for being
one of the leading providers of colored contact lenses to the motion
picture, TV and video industries.They include: IN STYLE,
ALLURE, GLAMOUR, VOGUE, NY POST, THE
RECORD, ESPN, FOX NEWS, Entertainment Tonight,
and The Maury Povich Show.
Recent movie work includes Julianne Moore THE HOURS
(provided aged eyes), and Michael Crawford in Dance of
the Vampires (color changes) on Broadway.
In addition Dr. Cassel lectures extensively to the eye care
profession on the topic of cosmetic and prosthetic contact lenses.
He is a consultant to many of the leading contact lens companies
including Johnson and Johnson, CIBA and CooperVision.
